A frontal study of symmetry and light, where the Louvre’s historic façade is rendered with precision and restraint. Illuminated windows punctuate the structure, introducing subtle variation within a rigid architectural order.
The composition emphasizes balance and repetition, allowing detail and proportion to define the image while the surrounding atmosphere recedes into stillness.
Printed as traditional chromogenic (C-print) photographs, these works are exposed and chemically developed on light-sensitive photographic paper rather than inkjet printed. This process produces smooth tonal transitions, rich color depth, and a luminous surface quality ideally suited to images driven by light and atmosphere.
Print size refers to the printed image. We allow a 2” white border for framing options.
